A Berry Dip That Makes Fruit Fun
Try This Berry Dip On For Size
When I was a kid my brother loved berries. He didn't however, care much for his apples and other fruits. That's why my mom would make berry dip for him to dip other fruits in. After all, man can't live on berries alone (even if we'd like to). Try this berry dip recipe to liven up the other fruit in your life.
Making Berry Good Berry Dip
I have to admit that I'm not usually a "dip" person. I eat my chips without dip, I even prefer tortilla chips without nacho cheese. However, when it comes to berry dip I'm a sucker. Especially sweet, smooth and creamy berry dip. This is one of the better berry dips I've tried.
To make this delicious berry dip, you're going to need to gather a few ingredients. Here's your list so you can get started:
1 cup of fresh strawberries
1/2 cup of softened cream cheese
1/4 cup of sour cream
2 tablespoons sugar
Getting Started
Once you have the ingredients for your berry dip, it's time to start putting it together. Fortunately, this is one of the most delicious berry recipes you'll try and it doesn't take a lot of time or effort to perfect it.
First, get out your food processor (or blender) and put in your strawberries. Process the berries until smooth. When you have finished, beat the softened cream cheese in a small mixing bowl until it is smooth and creamy. Then stir in the strawberries, sour cream and sugar and whip until smooth.
When the berry dip has reached its desired consistency put it in a food container and refrigerate what you aren't using. Serve the dip with fresh fruit like apples, strawberries, orange slices and any other fruits you'd like to mix with your berry dip.
