This past March I went to Disney World and took a ride on the "Living With the Land" ride where I saw what would be my first glimpse into upside down berry growing. It was awesome (the ride and the concepts it covered) and a week after I got home I saw a commercial for something called the Topsy Turvy -- an upside-down tomato growing pot. Then I saw they make one for strawberries and I bought it. My friends, I think my traditional berry growing days have become a thing of the past.
