Blueberry Cobbler Made Easy

The simplest and most delicious blueberry cobbler recipe on earth

Blueberry cobbler is just lip-smackin’ good! Berry Jerry loves blueberry cobbler and his Mrs. makes the best blueberry cobbler on earth!

Berry Jerry shares Mrs. Randall’s wonderful blueberry cobbler recipe…

My wife makes the best blueberry cobbler I’ve ever eaten, and trust me, I’ve eaten a lot! There are all kinds of blueberry cobblers. I like the ones that have a top crust like a pie, but this blueberry cobbler recipe is really a lot more like a cake than a pie and it is just fabulous hot with a little bit of fresh cream or homemade vanilla ice cream on top of it!

Before making the blueberry cobbler, you need to make sure that your fresh blueberries are washed well and there are no stems on them. That’s my job!

The ingredients for the blueberry cobbler are:

1 stick of real butter (not margarine)
1/2 a cup of sugar
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of baking powder
3/4 a cup of milk
1 cup of blueberries

To make the blueberry cobbler you preheat the oven to 350 degrees, then put the stick of butter in a deep baking dish and put in the oven to melt. In the meantime, mix up the sugar, flour, salt, baking powder and milk.

Take the pan with the melted butter out of the oven and pour the batter over the melted butter. You don’t even have to stir it. Pour the cup of blueberries over the batter distributing them evenly. You still don’t stir it.

If you’re blueberries are pretty sweet, the blueberry cobbler is ready to go in the oven. If they aren’t, you might want to pour a 1/4 cup of sugar over the top (you still don’t stir it).

Put the pan in the oven and bake it at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes. Serve the blueberry cobbler hot with fresh cream or vanilla ice cream.
